  • Scranton 101: Everything You Would Like to Know about “The Electric City” with Robert Farrell, Director of Community Relations

Choice of three Cura Personalis sessions:

  • The Da Vinci Code, with Eric Plumer, Ph.D.  We’ve all heard of the best-selling novel The Da Vinci Code.  Dr. Plumer will examine the evidence behind some of the amazing claims made in the book, and ask participants to consider how its popularity has shaped the way the Catholic Church is viewed in America today
  • What is a Jesuit Education Anyway?  Timothy Cadigan, S.J., Assistant Professor, Biology, will discuss what makes a Scranton education unique as a Jesuit institution
  • Transitions and Balancing Acts, sponsored by Student Affairs – You and your student have made it through the first month of their college career.  What transitions have you both been experiencing?  Learn about tactics to help your student deal with the juggling act of being a balanced student

The Fresh Food Company (all-you-care-to-eat), located on the 3rd floor in DeNaples, is open for lunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and the Retail Food Court (a la carte), located on the first floor of DeNaples, is open from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Pre-paid tickets are not required for these locations. You may pay at the register on-site.

The bookstore will be open Friday 9 a.m.-7:00 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., and Sunday 12:30–3:00 p.m.

The cafeteria and first-floor retail area, located in the Campus Center, will be open throughout the weekend.  Specific hours will be posted at a later time.

Campus tours will be available Saturday. Specific times will be announced.

Fitness room and pool will be open.  Specific times will be announced.
